最新研究：單身比伴侶族群一生多花1230萬

(Life) Newest Research: Singles Spend NTD12.3 Million More Than Couples in Lifetime
根據英國最新的研究顯示，單身的人一生所有的生活支出要比有伴侶的人要多出約25萬英鎊（約1230萬台幣）。

According to the latest British research, in their lifetime, singles need to spend around 250 thousand pounds (around NTD12.3 million) more than couples.
該研究顯示，單身人士要獨自扛起所有的貸款、旅遊費、保險費及水電費等。

This research shows that singles need to pay for mortgage, traveling expenses, insurance, and utilities entirely themselves.
與有伴侶的人相比，單身人士一年就得多花近5000英鎊。

Compared to people with a companion, singles need to spend almost 5000 pounds more a year.
該研究針對2000名英國成年人進行問卷調查。

This study surveyed 2000 British adults.
除了花費外，該研究也就生活滿意度方面進行調查。

Besides costs, this research also investigated the level of life satisfaction.
結果發現有3分之2已經有伴侶的人表示，兩人一起生活更開心。

The research showed that two thirds of those with a mate said they were happy living together.
但卻只有5分之1的單身者表示，滿意現在一個人的生活。

However, only one fifth of the singles said they were satisfied with a solitary life.
雖然如此，該報告也顯示英國未來10年裡單身人數將持續增加，估計單身人數將來到950萬人之多。

Despite these results, this report shows that the number of singles in the UK will continue to rise in the next ten years, and is expected to reach 9.5 million.
